5.2 Bulk upload

With this special function you are able to check several product numbers at once and add these products to the watch list or project position list . Instead of verifying each product number in the Configuration separately you just create a text file (data format .txt.) and upload it.

Bulkupload

This list may contain several positions but has to be structured in the following way to guarantee a correct handling:

The columns have to be separated by a tabulator. This column structure is obligatory, whereas at least the following language dependent columns need to be specified for an error-free upload:

Pos. -> Part number -> Option -> Text -> Quantity/Unit -> Tag-ID

This structure has to be separated with tabulators (->). All the rows containing product numbers you intend to verify need to be build up like this structure. The head column must be included as well as the first column in the file.

Pos. Part number Option Text Quantity/Unit Tag-ID
10 7ML5426-0AB00-0AA0-Z C11 1 Application 1
20 7ME6520-5KJ13-2AA1-Z C15+Y18 1
30 7MF8023-3FB24-1AG4-Z D05+Y15 {Y15: Measuringpoint 1} 1 Measuringpoint 1
40 7MH7122-1AJ63-1A 1

Example of the structure as .txt-file for the bulk upload

If there are several options please separate them with a "+". If the option needs a text, you have to put this text into curly braces "{ }" and put the option and a colon followed by a space ": " in front of the text. If there are different options, their curly braces need to be separated from each other by a blank.

If there are no additions and/or texts necessary for a number please leave this columns empty and continue with the input for the position, whereas this information too can be left blank. That means only information regarding the quantity and the order number of the product is mandatory and therefore must be specified in each row.

If you already have created a project list and intend to recreate this list afterwards *, you can use as well the bulk upload functionality. Therefore please make an excel download of your created project list. A comment on this you find in the description for the watch list or project position list .
